Universum Bremen, Bremen, Deutschland

June 18th, 2013

The absolute hit of our children, this museum: Universum Bremen. Even from the outside it impresses with its whale mouth, the glassy passage and an interactive garden.

Inside the building the first surprises starts: a huge table and chair – so mum and dad can see, how the kids feel that way everyday. You can then start, free of anorak and backpack, very comfortable. The museum is parted into the following topics: mankind, earth and cosmos. In each area, you will be amazed on experiments and learning.
We were impressed by the earthquake simulator. After the choice between different regions and cities the earthquake can be inspired sitting on a sofa. For the little ones there is also an area in the ground floor: The Milky Way. It is ideal for children aged 3 to 8 years. Numerous small experiments and offers in the areas of parts, dreaming, building and show invite you to linger. But we want to give anything away this knowledge centre is worth a visit. We have pushed it twice as a stage stop on long journeys and are now again a reason to travel to Bremen.

Admission fees are offered adequate to the size:
Adults € 16, children 6 years and reduced tickets € 11, family ticket for 2 adults with their own children under 18 years 40 €.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm, Saturdays, Sundays and holidays 10am to 7pm.
