June 3rd, 2011

The German Emigration Center in Bremerhaven, the Deutsches Auswandererhaus, is particularly suitable for older children and their parents.

A journey from Bremerhaven / Germany to Iceland Ellis / New York / USA, the first destination of the emigrants of the 19th and 20 Century, you take with the identity of a real emigrant. You will learn the stories of numerous emigrants and know their way in their new home. Experience with the difficult early years and also hear of returnees. You can view the ship’s accommodation and meals for the traveler.
