Hike to sows Sawyer: wooden figures in the Ore Mountains, Mulda, Saxony, Germany

Whimsical characters inhabit the forest between Mulda and Dorfchemnitz. between beech and spruce stand hunters, witches, dragons and many other wooden figures twenty minutes away from Freiberg, in the Ore Mountains. The sows sawyers owed to this collection of Blockhausen.

Arriving
Blockhausen is located between the federal highways 101 and 171, about 20 km south of Freiberg. A parking lot is located on Steinbruchweg.
 
Restaurant/ Café
The snack bar is open from April to October from 11 clock. On site parking is drawn to the opening. A private picnic is advisable.
